Crime Victim Compensation

Provides financial reimbursement to victims who have suffered bodily injury from violent crimes. Claims must be filed within 180 days, or 2 years with extenuating circumstances. Incident must have occured in Indiana and a police report must have been filed within 72 hours of the incident. Compensation is available for medical, lost wages, burial expenses and counseling.
